I believed in Jesus the moment my dad told me about going to Heaven when I was a child. However, I went no further than that until I met my best friend, Nick, in high school. I'd read a children's Bible some time before that, but Nick was the one who really got me on the road.
Today, I favor the nickname Light, as it represents the purpose for which I was made. Instead of searching for who I am, I chose to become what God says I am: a guide to the blind, a light to those bin darkness, a child of God, a servant of God, a witness of God.
I don't like seeing people down and feeling hopeless, so I try to shine for them and give them hope by being my shiny self.
I have much spiritual wisdom but, as I've been told, little worldly knowledge. I am perfectly fine with that. I like that wisdom with others, especially the youth at church.
